Due to the wet conditions on the back Valley, we will be playing a modified front Valley and the Rolling 9 as the back. The course and the scorecards are set up like that to reflect those changes. If you want to play all 18, I would highly recommend playing on either Saturday (5/20) or Sunday (5/21) afternoon. With leagues on weekdays, it is difficult to get 18 holes in prior to the start of leagues around 3:30 p.m. Practice rounds are $ 20 for 18 regardless of which day you play.
Boys will play from the White Tees, whereas Girls will use the Red Tees on the Front Valley and the Rolling Nine. Nine hole totals will be recorded at the turn, 18 hole scores will be recorded hole by hole in the Scoring Area, Lower Level of the Clubhouse. Any scoring disputes will be decided by the Games (Rules) Committee upon completion of their respective rounds.
Range balls will be provided for each wave of teams on the driving range. Additional balls may be purchased in the Pro Shop. Six lunch tickets will be included in your coaching packet. Lunch will be pulled pork sandwiches, chips and a brownie. Team members will be responsible for purchasing their own beverages.
Proper attire will be required, in order, to participate. Collared or team shirts, shirts or blouses with sleeves, slacks or tailored shorts are expected. Golf or rubber-soled shoes must be worn. Kettle Hills restricts denim (jeans) from being worn. Violators will be warned and then disqualified if they fail to correct the problem, considered Unsportsmanlike conduct.
Coaches will receive information packets at their respective Coaches Meeting, which includes Coaching Badges, Copies of "Local Rules", Pace of Playexplanation and timetable, Spectator Guidelines, Individual Scorecards, Scoring Procedures, Tee Times and keys to power carts.
Games (Rules) Committee, Severe Weather and Suspension of Play Procedures, Wi Fi Access and use of Electronic Devices, Playoff Procedures and Holes will be clarified at each of the Coaches Meetings in the Lower Level of the Clubhouse. Pace of Play (Time Par) Checkpoints will be identified.
Please refer to the Kettle Hills website for directions and a map / location of Kettle Hills on Hwy. 67 in Richfield, WI. Course information and scorecard of yardages and par are available as well. The WIAA website has posted the Division Two Regional Pairings by Schools / Teams according to their 9 hole team average.
Spectators must follow the WIAA Guidelines and may pay ($ 8) for the use of a power cart on the cart paths or they must stay in the rough areas, at least 10 yards behind the players.
